Vintage Surfboards

More vintage surfboards than you can shake your stick at

If you like vintage surfboards then dust of the old quiver and get your nostalgic surf bum down to Lusty Glaze tomorrow.

There will be a Vintage Surf Meet between 9.30 and 12pm in the Lusty Glaze car park on Sunday the 26th June 2011, that’s in Newquay in case you wasn’t sure. It will be the greatest car boot colection of single fins, twin fins and retro surf rockets you’ve ever seen.

So if you want to clear out the garage of yellowing classic surfboards and make a few pennies: get up early, load up the surf wagon, and cruise down to Lusty Glaze tomorrow morning.

Or if you have a classic collection that you want to show and glow, then paddle in the appreciation of fellow vintage stick entusiasts in this rare gathering.

We might be blessed with a SE wind in the morning complimented by a decent swell! So there’s never been a better reason to dust off the swallow tail heirloom, dive in to a dawny at Fistral, then hang out at Lusty Glaze for some classic surfboard banter.

A big soul arch salute goes out to Alasdair the Vintage Surfboard Collector for organising such a treat.
